The Toronto police were back at Bluffer's Park on Monday where they investigated a 24 year old woman. She claims that she was sexually assaulted on the weekend. She says that she was attacked on Sunday afternoon when she was walking in the park which is located in the Brimley and Kingston area. Initial reports say a gun was used to threaten the victim but police did not confirm whether a weapon was used. The woman was able to provide a physical description of the male suspect. The male suspect is described to be of East Indian. His physical description is of a man with black hair, with a bald spot, and grey patches. He is about 5'5" and wore glasses, a black short-sleeve shirt, and black pants.
The woman was treated at Scarborough Grace Hospital for her injuries.
It is a scary thought that a woman can't walk along the street without getting assaulted. I really resent the fact that there is this kind of violence. If the police are able to prove that this man did what he is accused of doing, I hope that he gets a serious sentence so that maybe it scares other people from doing the same thing.
